Not just for show dogs, handling classes are a great way to socialize and train your dog to be well behaved outside your home environment. FLKC offers weekly handling classes throughout the year in both indoor and outdoor settings and for a small fee. You can bring your dog as often as you like. It is a relaxed and fun way to enjoy your dog and a great way to train puppies and get your show dog ready for competition. We welcome kids from the Tompkins County 4-H Tailwaggers Dog club. Melissa LoPinto and Jacob Ragusa, members of Finger Lakes Kennel Club, work with the 4-H kids on the 4-H night, and then we have a few of the 4-H kids that attend our class on Wednesdays.
Classes meet every Wednesday EXCEPT the 2nd Wednesday of the month. The class is held 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. For more information please email Debi Howe at debijhowe@aol.com or call (607)898-1010.
