Remembering Jim Pyle

In Loving Memory of Jim Pyle ~ January 19, 1938 – February 22, 2020

Jim loved his family— 5 children, 3 grandkids, and 3 great-grandkids.  And of course, he loved all the many four-legged, furry, family members that he and Carolyn have enjoyed all these years.  He was a breeder of several Ch. Rottweilers and Norfolk Terriers.  He worked for NYS Division for Youth for 37 years, retiring in 2000.  He was an active member of both Finger Lakes Kennel Club, Ithaca Dog Training Club, and several other animal-related clubs, including the Tompkins County 4-H, where he ran their sound system (public address system) during the 4-H Fair each year.  After Bobbi Lent founded the Wine Country Circuit, he put up and ran the public address system for many, many years, becoming the “Voice of the Wine Country.”  Jim Pyle was loved by many and he will be greatly missed.
